We are big fans of using tools that help keep our weeknights running smooth & easy. Healthy cookbooks are one of our favorite way to keep our time in the kitchen interesting, fun & simple! Here are 5 of our favorite cookbooks in no particular order ;)
The Whole 30 Cookbook- Even if you’re not planning on completing a Whole 30, this cookbook is packed with delicious easy recipes based on whole food ingredients that not only taste great, but make you feel great as well. There are also plenty of tips & tricks to making your kitchen a place that is easier to find the foods you need to nourish your body well & feel your best.
Practical Paleo- Diane Sanfilipo is a genius in the kitchen & one of the OG’s in the Paleo Community. This community is ever evolving & continuing to help us understand the amazing connection between food & our bodies. Diane’s recipes are easy, delicious & perfect whether you’re following a paleo lifestyle or not!
The Paleo Kitchen- Another great cookbook whether you eat “paleo” or not! Julie Bauer from PaleOMG & George Bryant from Civilized Caveman partnered together to create this amazing cookbook with everything in it from Whole Roasted Chicken (one of our favorites!) to Chocolate Banana Bread & everything in between.
Magnolia Table- While Joanna Gaines’ recipes are a little more on the indulgent side, we love the way this cookbook inspires us to cook at home with & for our families & spend a little more time around the table. With beautiful pictures & so many recipes that are classics with a little “extra” Joanna style, this is a great cookbook to have on your shelf.
Skinnytaste Fast & Slow- Gina Homolka from Skinnytaste is a genius when it comes to whipping up classics that we love in easier, healthier ways. This cookbook is packed with tons of easy, weeknight “bowls,” slow cooker & instant pot recipes, plus plenty of just plain quick ideas to put together healthy meals. One of our go-to’s for planning out the week!
